What we collect

When you book or contact us. Your name, email, phone number, event date, event type, venue and any notes you share. Bookings, contracts and payments are handled through our booking system, BoothBook, at booking.mrboothsa.com. Card payments are processed by its payment provider; we never see or store your full card number on this website.

When you use the package builder. The date, event type, package and extras you choose, so we can show availability and your total and carry your choices to the booking page. To check availability, our site sends only the date you pick to our availability service. Your choices are kept in your browser for that visit and are not stored on our servers.

When you browse our website. Like most sites, we use cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our ads. These include the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Analytics. They may collect information such as pages visited, the device and browser you use, and how you arrived at our site.

At your event. The booth takes the photos, GIFs and videos your guests choose to capture. If a guest enters a phone number or email to receive their photos, it is used to deliver those photos. Event photos are stored in an online gallery provided by our booth software (LumaBooth / fotoShare) so you can view, share and download them.

Our client support app. When you use the support chat during your rental, we keep your questions and our answers for up to 30 days so we can check the help we give and improve it. When you start using the chat, your phone may ask to share your location. If you allow it, we save the approximate venue (for example, the street and city) with your chat so we know where a question comes from. Location is optional, and the chat works the same if you decline. Chat answers are generated with an AI service (Anthropic), and the approximate venue name is looked up through OpenStreetMap.

Design requests. If you choose a print design through our private design gallery, the names, dates and notes you enter are sent to our design provider (BoothWidget) so we can prepare your template.

How we use it

To take and manage your booking, prepare your custom template, coordinate pickup and return, deliver your photos and gallery, answer your questions, send booking-related messages, improve our website, and measure how our ads perform. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run Mr. Booth, and only for that purpose: BoothBook (booking, contracts and payments), LumaBooth / fotoShare (booth software, photo sharing and galleries), BoothWidget (design requests), Anthropic (support chat answers), OpenStreetMap (venue name for support chats), Cloudflare (website, availability checks and support chat), Google (analytics and reviews) and Meta (ad measurement). We may also share information if required by law.

Your photos

Your event gallery is private to you and the people you share the link with. With your permission or as allowed by your rental agreement, we may feature a selection of event photos on our website and social media. If you would like any photos from your event left out or taken down, contact us and we will remove them.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide our service and meet tax and legal requirements. Online galleries are kept according to our gallery provider's storage period, so please download any photos and videos you want to keep.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, adjust ad settings in your Meta and Google accounts, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@mrboothsa.com. Some records, such as payment records, may need to be kept by law.

Children

Our website and booking are meant for adults planning an event. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Guests of any age may appear in event photos taken at the booth.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
